TADD interns worked on getting the word out about distracted driving through media and grassroots efforts. They ran campaigns at school, went to events, created content on Puget SoundOff.org, and learned the ropes of pushing for change in their community.
TADD Bracelets and Pledge Cards
“It was really a blast to be a part of TADD and to learn how to commercialize ideas so others could hear them and understand them, while working for a great cause. It was a wonderful experience that I have gained many skills from being a part of,” said 14-year-old TADD intern, Teianna.
Puget SoundOff.org and the YMCA of Greater Seattle hired and managed TADD interns.
I am organizing my own event on May 19 in Cincinnati, Ohio. My community will be having their semi-annual block watch yard sale that day. I will be purchasing a booth to set up an area that I can use to to educate, advocate, and promote the dangers of distracted driving.
